We designed, supplied, and installed standalone solar PV systems for SolarPipo Kyarushebeka dairy in Kyarushebeka village, Ngoma-Nakaseke district. This system is designed to power dairy cooling machines, CCTV camera systems, intruder alarm systems & security lighting with a more stable and clean energy source.
The Solar PV system consisted of 11.88KWp of Solar Module Array, a 5,600AH Maintenance Free Battery bank, and a 24KVA Pure sine wave three-phase inverter Unit.
These milk coolers were previously run by diesel gen-sets which were unreliable and required frequent maintenance which was very hard for dairy cooperatives to manage. These Solar PV system’s performance is remotely monitored and also troubleshooting can be done remotely as well
