This Solar PV water Pumping system consisted of an 855W Solar Module Array connected to a Lorentz Centrifugal Pump. The system can pump 0.95 m³ of water per hour and this water is used to supply water to Naluko women’s hospital maternity ward, Guesthouses, staff quarters, Kitchen, Outpatient department, and the church.
Naluko Women’s Hospital is a 4,000-square-foot building in the heart of Naluko Village, Iganga District, and serves a population of 700,000 people that live in extreme poverty. The primary service of this new Hospital is to provide
prenatal, postnatal, and delivery services to ensure that women have a safe, clean environment to deliver their babies This Project was Funded by Hearts 4 Africa. Hearts 4 Africa was founded in 2005 by Sherill Sedillo (Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed Midwife).
